FHFA director testifies before HFSC

Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) Director Sandra Thompson provided testimony before the House Financial Services Committee at a hearing entitled “FHFA Oversight: Protecting Homeowners and Taxpayers.” In addition to addressing matters of housing policy, the members of Congress pressed Thompson on the issue of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac’s conservatorship.
