TRID hearing shows strong support for delayed enforcement

In a rare occurrence, House Financial Services Committee members on both sides of the aisle expressed support for a hold-harmless period for TILA/RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) compliance that extends until the end of the year. In a hearing discussing the costs and benefits of TRID, committee members heard from the American Bankers Association, American Land Title Association, the Urban Institute and the National Association of Realtors.
