ABA challenges CFPB’s generic collection request

The American Bankers Association, in response to a generic data collection request by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), said it was concerned the CFPB had misused its authority to conduct data collection on overdraft practices without having to go through a notice-and-comment process first.
