In an action applauded by the American Bankers Association, the House Financial Services Committee passed the Taking Account of Institutions with Low Operation Risk Act (TAILOR Act), which would require financial regulators to consider institutions’ risk profiles and business models as well as review – and possible revise - all regulations adopted since June 25, 2010, before the Dodd-Frank Act was enacted.
