Less than a month after the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) held a field hearing in which Director Richard Cordray encouraged banks to offer more low-risk deposit accounts, the bureau has released highlighted findings on overdraft and non-sufficient fund fees, as newly required within Call Reports filed with the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council.
