The inspector general for the Federal Reserve and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is expected to complete an audit of the CFPB’s supervision program in the coming weeks. The IG is also preparing to release a report on the bureau’s civil penalty fund and the agency’s efforts to comply with certain Dodd-Frank rulemaking requirements.
